On the faculty of militia there was a meeting with the prize-winner of the world championship in sambo-master of sports of international class Leila Abbasova.
The bronze medalist of the World Sambo Championship in 2017 spoke about her sports career and healthy lifestyle. Leila was born in Grodno, an ex-pupil of the Novopolotsk school of the Olympic reserve, then a student at the Polotsk State University and the Belarusian State of Maxim Tank Pedagogical University. Courage, perseverance, labour and the volition to win are the same qualities that allowed the athlete to climb repeatedly to the podium and to wear police shoulder straps with professionalism. Leyla Abbasova, lieutenant of militia, successfully combines fight for medals of European and world championships with the service in the Department of Protection and study at the Law Faculty of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
